4. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember preferences and understand how visitors use the site.

Cookies we use

Strictly necessary
WordPress session cookies required for the site to function correctly (e.g., form nonces for security). These cannot be disabled.
Analytics (Google Analytics)
_ga, _gid, _gat — track page views and user behaviour in anonymised, aggregated form. You can opt out via Google’s opt-out browser add-on or your browser’s cookie settings.
Advertising (Amazon Associates)
Amazon may set cookies when you click affiliate links. These are governed by Amazon’s Privacy Policy. We do not control these cookies.
Preferences
Optional cookies that remember your preferences (e.g., cookie consent status). Stored for 12 months.

Managing cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect site functionality. For guidance, visit aboutcookies.org.

  • WordPress.com / Hosting provider — website hosting. Server logs are retained for up to 30 days.

These services operate under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them independently.

6. How Long We Keep Your Data
